The
Vision of EHC is to reach everyone where they live with the message
and influence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
From
house to hut to shanty to the street - wherever people can be
found across the farthest reaches of the earth, EHC has been proclaiming
the good news of God's salvation since 1946.

To
equip and mobilize Christians to pray for the harvest and present
the gospel of Jesus Christ home by home throughout the world, making
disciples in all nations.
EHC
is committed to fulfilling the great commission of Christ in this
generation. As Jesus Himself said, "this Gospel of the Kingdom
will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations,
and then the end will come." We are driven by determination
to obey our Lord and complete the mission He gave us: to take his
message of salvation to every people group in every place on earth.

EHC celebrated 60 years of missions in October 2006. Over 2.3 billion pieces of gospel literature have been distributed home to home resulting on over 47 million responses.
Over 1000 homes are being visited every day and over 110,000 Christ Groups have been set up world-wide, where there have been no previous evangelical witness.
In 2005 the responses were over 6 million!
EHC's
courageous workers must climb mountains, wade through rivers,
trek across barren lands, cut through dense jungles and even brave
the perils of war zones to deliver Gospel literature to every
home.
All
glory be to Christ - the Lord of the harvest.
Of
course, when we say "every home" we actually refer as
well to those whose home is a prison, a hospital or a ship. For
millions of people, "home" is a sidewalk in a teeming
city or a cardboard box in a slum. Wherever people are, EHC goes
to them with the Good News of Jesus.

Every
work of eternal consequence demands focused, united
prayer. Prayer unleashes the power and provision of God. He
inhabits the praise and prayer of his people, so we are committed
to building on the foundation of disciplined prayer. EHC (UK)
is able to run prayer schools to train believers for a life
of prayer. EHC continues to build a network of Christians
around the world who pray faithfully and with great intensity
for the fulfillment of our mission. We encourage you to be
part of this network. |
Extensive
research takes place prior to EHC's evangelistic
initiatives. We ask, "How many people in this region
are without the Gospel? How do they live? What do they believe?
What spiritual issues are holding them in bondage?" This
research addresses social, religious and political history,
as well as economic realities. |

EHC
is committed to working exclusively through national,
indigenous leadership. One who knows the culture, speaks the
language and identifies completely is able to communicate
much more effectively. Financial support for indigenous leaders
and workers generally costs less than the support of western
missionaries, so this is a matter of wise stewardship, as
well. |
For
more than 60 years we have partnered with scores
of Christian organizations in order to get the job done. Whether
the task is training, transportation, translation or some
other work, EHC recognises and appreciates the value of Christ-centered
partnership. |
 |
 |
Systematically
going to every dwelling in an entire nation to present
the Gospel has proven to be a do-able, reachable goal. Using
a variety of media - literature, recording devices, visual
charts, etc. - we communicate the message and keep track of
where we've been. Saturation to us literally means going to
every home for Christ, reaching adults and children alike.
|
Simply
planting the seed is not enough. We also do everything
possible to cultivate and conserve the fruits of our labours.
Response cards are included with all of our evangelistic
literature.
We
respond to cards recieved with a four-lesson Bible correspondence
course and direct seekers into existing churches or EHC's
Christ Groups.

|
|
When
we distribute literature and declare the Gospel in
places where no churches exist, EHC workers begin fellowships
called Christ Groups. These are formed around the world for
worship and training of new disciples. Many of these groups
have become established, mature congregations. |
Following
our Lord's example, we look upon the countless sheep
without a shepherd and are moved with compassion for them.
That compassion is expressed in many ways: assisting disaster
victims, taking in the children of the streets from Latin
America's teeming cities, medical and school facilities in
India, sponsorship of children & evangelists. We cannot
separate the verbal declaration of the gospel from the literal
demonstration of its reality. |
|
|
The
worldwide ministry of EHC is supported by the charitable
gifts of people from diverse Christian backgrounds who value
the gospel of Christ and the people for whom Christ gave his
life. In order to take the gospel to everyone everywhere,
we are engaged in a multitude of projects that enable us to
carry out all of these mission essentials. For a list of partnership
opportunities and projects you can support, see our Support
Page. |
Our
History: The ministry of Every Home for Christ was
born in Canada in 1946. For over 40 years we were known as
World Literature Crusade before adopting our new name in 1988.
But one thing has never changed: for every day of our existence
this outreach has been devoted to the communication of God's
Word to people in need. From remote villages to densely-populated
urban areas, the Good News has gone out unceasingly. |
